This blog was born during a recent challenging period of my life.
I was drained of all energy and motivation, totally exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally.
My moodiness was distancing me from family, friends and workmates. I should have seen the familiar warning signs.
Depression, or "the Black Dog" as Winston Churchill called it, had come to pay me another visit and was once again taking over my life.
Attending to my blog became habitual, motivating me to seek out words of wisdom, beautiful images, thoughts and music to add to my virtual scrapbook and boost my spirit.
Over time of course it thankfully has become more upbeat as I gradually began to see my life from a brighter perspective.
